Gosh, it really all depends. I'm a senior now in College, so over the years, I've had different amounts of studying.

Every WEEK day, between classes and work, I average about 2-3 hours of studying per day.... On weekends, when I don't work or have any classes, that number jumps to about 6-8 hours per day.

Most of the studying is just reading, which can be faster or slower for most people. Last year, I had huge assignments for Organic Chemistry, so I ended up spending 20 or so hours on that class per week, ALONE.

So.... the rule of thumb is... "2 to 3 hours of studying per One hour of class".... it really all depends on your credit load, and the difficulty of the classes... Expect more time studying for harder classes.

Good luck.

I not go to College now, if this what you refer to. I have over 200 hours of College and those studies have conditioned me to learn. I study about 3 hours a day. Research is a part of my studies.
