Ok so I understand that you should take at least 2 foreign languages to get into a UC school. I have taken Japanese 1 and Chinese 1 and aced both of them. It's just the fact that I have terrible memory that is causing problems for me. Now I'm in Spanish 1 because I have already forgotten almost all the Japanese and Chinese that I once knew. I'm not sure which language to take, whether to attempt Chinese 2 or to restart with Spanish 1. I am currently a sophomore in highschool hoping to enter a UC school after I graduate.

I'd recommend that you take Spanish 2 next! It's easier than Chinese 2 and Japanese 2, and more people in North America and Europe speak it. Afterwards, you can finish the other two.
