When you studied in college, what did you study? Was it difficult? What was your job outlook after graduating? I am curious because i am going back to school in Jan. and I dont know weather i want to study Biology or ecconomics. Kind of different areas, but i thought either would probably open up some doors.

What I studied and what YOU study are not connected in any way! I am a teacher, and chose that area at the advice of my mother, who had seen my potential in the field.

Now, maybe you can ask your parents, or peers what they see as your strengths, and weaknesses. No point in becoming a pilot if you do not do well in airplanes!

Get advice from others who are happily employed in the fields that interest you. Do not go into retail if having a lot of "stuff" goes against your spiritual belief in minimalism. See what I mean?.

Jobs are a personal matter, and training for one must be determined by your aptitudes and innate talents.

Go for it, but first find out your leanings and inclinations.
