Absolutely.
You might have 2,000 kids in your high school if it's big.
You'll have 15,000 to 40,000 students at a college or university.

Well..First of all if you're looking for some amazing "grown-up transformation" of your peers over one summer vacation then think again. You'll be surrounded by hundreds (or thousands) of your same kinds of friends you knew in high school. You'll be around a bunch of people that write things like high "skool".
Not that there's anything wrong with that, but implies a certain amount of playfulness and immaturity. The same kind of behavior you should expect in college. Don't try to be a completely different person than you are now. Everyone there will be trying to be somebody different. But you'll soon realize you'll once again be eating lunch with your "group" you'll socialize with the same kinds of cliques, and you'll joing groups to meet people.
college is 100x better than high school because you can do all of that on your own time table, and 24-hours a day not just during recess and p.e.
College is great--take advantage of the opportunity to do some growing up and exploring. If you want new social experiences seek them out. Can't get to something different by doing what you've always done.

Yes and no. If you dorm it, it can be a lot better. Lots of party animals doing beer bongs all Friday night.
If you don't, probalby not. Those in class want to be there and are not into socializing and talking in class like they are in highschool. College kids pay attention in class.
