I am looking to go into Radiology school soon. I was wondering if anyone knew about it. I was also wondering if you get a degree in one state is it good only for that state, or can you move and work as well?

I am currently taking high school courses through distance learning to receive my high school diploma. Some people have suggested for me to take the GED because sometimes I have difficulty studying from home. Ultimately, I would want to continue on with my courses. But I am wondering, what is the difference between the two? Will having a high school diploma guarantee better admissions in college and a better job?

My boyfriend is being accused of plagiarism for a paper that me and my mom helped him write. He goes to a good school, and the summer class film-studies teacher is actually an english professor.

We did not intentionally use the same words, and though we changed the phrasing we did not do a good job at using a thesaurus either.

Please help - he's never been in this situation before and does not know how to begin to discuss it with his prof.

This may be a stupid question, I am not sure. I know I am going to be living in the dorms this fall because I'm all signed up already, but could I still be in a sorority? Or can you only be in one if you live in the sorority house? I'm wondering if I should sign up for sorority recruitment or not.

hi. im interested in majoring in public relations but i'v found that more schools offer majors in advertising than public relations. I'm wondering if it is a better idea to stick with a school that offers public relations since that is what I'm most interested in or if it woudl be safe to choose and advertising major since this major covers aspects public relations. hope that makes sence. thanks!

What can I use instead of post-it notes to cover words cloze-style on Big Books when reading to the class. Post-its are removable (that's what I want), but are too see-through. Any suggestions?

I was given an assignment in one of my college classes to write down definitions of words on a given list. If I copy the definitions word for word, will that be plagiarism?

The syllabus says:
"Each student is to research the definition of each of these terms and then assemble a glossary of all terms and their corresponding definitions."

when I applied for a grad school and paid the application fee, I also paid the courier fee since I am an intertnational student. See they didn't even ask for it. Only the 100 $ appl. fee, but I added an extra 40 $ to that and explained that I need the admission letter be mailed to me by fedex. now, 6 months later, they send me the letter by the regular mail!! and 6 months!!! I need my 40$ back. Should I ask for a refund?

My only concern as a freahman in college is to pass math..decently for the first time.
I am about to finnish a math class.
and the outcome nerves me.
I've been doing extra credit, have been doing very well on nearly all pop up quizez (worth 10 points, we also get bonus questions)...except for 2 (the professor dropped 1 of the lowest quiz scores)
On all 3 exams I managed to pass 1 with a 95%
Barely passed the other with a D 60%
and have failed the other
(she also dropped the lowest exam..my F)
When the professor passed out the gradesheet
I was relieved to know that my grade is a high C (78.7%)
..a B would be reaching 80%
Now that I'll be soon done with this F%&*ing class
I decieded to do some extra credit worth a misealy 10 points for all the crap we have to do.
Anyway
I've got the feeling I'm going to fail the final, which is short in length.
If I do fail....lets say, I get a 54
will I drop to a D!

i am about to loose my mind.
I am a 17 year old, it is summer time and I am about to start my senior year in highschool!
I'm a very bright student and highly self motivated.
I've gotta tell ya, I'm good at a lot of things but the things that interest me the most are mathmatics, music and business.
I've been thinking about what I want to learn in college.
I'd love to work in a field where I could use my skills in math (I've already taken Calculus and I'm currently taking Statistics (love it!) as a summer course), I really love to sing and write music so I'd love to have an album or something (gospel, since I love church!), and I love managing and just working in business! I'd love to be an entrepeneur. AND i'd also like to learn french, I've completed 3 yrs and I will be taking french in my senior year but i'd really like to be fluent in the language!!

any suggestions for someone like me??!
(major/minor choices for college)

Currently, I have 2 D's(repeated twice already) in the same math course in community college. I want to transfer to a 4 year university and would like to know if I can retake the same math course again...for the third time. Maybe third time's the charm. It's the only class I'm struggling with. How would my third grade in the same course be calculated in the gpa and what would happen to the 2 D's?
