City University of New York is pretty easy to get into. There are 21 campuses, 10 are 4-year "senior colleges" and the rest are 2-year community colleges. It's a public university so tuition is cheap.

Could you tell us where the school is located so we'll know which college you're talking about? Are you referring to the New York college in Athens, Greece or York College in Queens?
OR are you referring to a different college that is in New York?

I tried to get into SUNY Purchase, they have an excellent visual arts program. Didn't get it, so I'm going to say it's hard. But...I didn't do anything in high school besides attend, so that may be to credit for my rejection.

My guess would be that it would help if you could master the english language. If you speak like you write, you are most likely out of luck.

there is always a lot of applicants. just make yourself known. i sent my request in to NYU. and i got it back today saying i can go after i graducate with a partial scholarship
