I am looking to go into Radiology school soon. I was wondering if anyone knew about it. I was also wondering if you get a degree in one state is it good only for that state, or can you move and work as well?

It depends on what level you want to achieve. If you want to be an x-ray technician, where you actually take the x-rays, you can go to a community college and get a two year A.S. degree in radiology. This is what most people do. Of course, if you want to be a Radiologist, the person who reads the x-rays and writes up the findings, that's actually a medical doctor and you have to go to Medical School just like any other doctor. An x-ray technician has to be state licensed. I'm not sure if you can transfer to another state, but most likely. I am a nurse, and nurses can get licensed in another state by what is called reciprocity--which means if you're recognized as licensed in one state, the other states reciprocate and recognize your qualifications as well, but you do have to apply to the other state that you want to work in and send in proof of your education and license and pay their licensing fee as well. I would bet that it's the same for x-ray technicians. It's a great field, and there is high demand, so you should have no trouble getting a job. Good luck.
