do they look at the type of school you go to (community, state), grades, high school rec, scores, choice of classes?

this will better my understanding in choosing which college i should go to...

i heard ivy colleges look at your high school record as well..is there a way to get past that?

its not really competitive because every1 will go to med school right after they are done with college? if you worked hard at you werent fooling around in college you will go to med school!! they cant hold you back right?if you did good on the MCAT and you did good in college WHY ARE PEOPLE SOO WORRIED THEY WONT GET IN???

can someone describe how their dorms usually are, it doesnt matter what school. particularly the bathroom facility. is it stalls of shower where u can just go inside and close the door or is it wide open where everyone can see ur nakedness....feel free to add....lol

For example, let's say the instructor is sick of reading essays on abortion, gun control, death penalty, etc. So, the instructor tells students that they cannot choose to write about that topic.

Here's another example: let's say the instructor has a very passionate view on abortion and knows that he/she is unable to objectively grade essays on the topic. So, the topic becomes verboten. Is this better or worse than the previous example?

How would you react? Would you feel like the instructor is being unfair, unprofessional? Or would you understand the instructor's position for making the topic(s) off limits?

Does this mean they will see both my SAT and ACT scores? Or if I report only my SAT scores will they not see the ACT scores ? What happens when you take BOTH tests? Are both looked at or only the one you report???
