Im think of these 3 choices but can't decide which though.
1. BMB(biochem & molecular bio , Spanish)
2. Chemistry and Spanish
3. BMB and Chemistry

which do you think is more important or looks better for a med student?
they say they want well rounded student and they want them to be human like. Then I think that a double major in science will help me for the future field of medecine and the MCAT. what nice about BMB and chemistry is that there is some overlapping. For Spanish, I speak pretty good and can read the spanish newspaper article with no trouble. But which number would you choose?

Pretend for a moment that there is College#1 and College#2. When College#2 asks for official transcripts from College#1, does that mean the "official" transcript isn't the original since College#1 needs to have a record of your transcripts forever by law? What then is the difference between an official and unofficial transcript? Say you attended 4 colleges (community/city colleges, etc...), is there a way to get a copy of transcripts from all 4 schools to document for your own purposes? Or is that against the law?

news article that you wish to do your paper on with the study type and explanatory and response variables identified. Please note that this is to be a news article from a mainstream media source (not a scholarly journal article or conference paper), i.e. something that the general public is likely to encounter.

Possible search terms: "Study proves", "study shows", "research proves", "research shows", "scientists prove", and so on. You may use a thesaurus for more ideas for search terms. Search only one idea at a time, i.e. search for "study shows".

i need to be able to answer these:

(5) brief summary
(10) type of research
(10) example of confounding variable OR specify the treatments.
(5) ID the explanatory and response variables
(5) ID the source of the research and/or the funding
(5) ID how individuals or objects studied were selected;
(5) ID the size of any claimed effects or differences
(5) causal relationship?
(20) results of this study convincing?
(20) reporting of this study accurate?
(10) composition

I have done some reasearch along with my associates and found that alot of college professors are promoting homosexuality and teaching it to their students. We have even found elementary teachers trying to teach kids as young as 8 years old about tolerance for homosexuals this is george soros at his very very best.

I planning on doing a double major with Spanish and something else for pre-med. I don't know whether it should be with chemistry or BMB(biochemistry and molecular biology). Which do you think is more important or would med school like to see? I know that med schools want to see some diverse students. (And yes I know that major doesnt matter but still)

How long did it take you? I was in and out for a while and then really buckled down for a year--but only able to go part time, then I've had to sit out this whole year because of financial aid issues. So...I'll start back in August but just barely a sophmore! I'm getting a little discouraged! So, can you share your story and tell me how much it was worth it even though it took longer than a traditional student....lie if you have to HAHA (JK)! :) Thanks!

I am 21 years old, and I have been working as a carpenter for 3 years. I wanted to know is it HARD to get into MEDICINE and is it worth my time?

I only have a high-school diploma and that I had poor marks from the past, but now I have the motive to do better. Even if I didn't do well before does not mean I am going to struggle again, especially with my motivation and interest.

Now that I have mentioned that I only have a diploma from highschool, I am only eligible to go to College here in Canada. I know that I have to get a Science Diploma, which is 3 years in length, and then a BA or BSc in University (another 4 years), but really is it worth my time for getting into medical school and becoming a doctor?

Most of my friends say that it isn't worth my time and effort considering that I am 21 and I was not that bright before. Everyone puts me down..... but what the hell I want to try.

Thank you for your time. =)

Accepted:
1. Emory
2. NYU - Stern School of Business
3. Tufts
4. U of I - College of Business
5. U of Michigan

I know that all the colleges I got into are extremely good and renowed, but I really want the best out of the list. If I refer to the ranking, Emory ranks the highest. Should I really use the ranking to determine their reputation. Money, location, student life, and campus don't matter much to me. Currently, I don't have a specific field I want to go into. I could study business and second major/minor something else or I could go to Tufts and study Int'l Relations/Econ. Also, I think I'd like to work in the asia region after undergraduation. I already know the basics and background of each college. I guess what I am looking for are reputation (national and international) and career prospect.

Thanks! Making this final deicison has created such a hard time for me in the pass few weeks.

I plan to do computer engineering.
I am in grade 11 at a prestigious private school and have taken only the most demanding of subjects which the school has to offer(i am doing the ib diploma) Math hl, physics hl, chemistry hl, english sl A, spanish ab intio and economics sl. I am a very hard working person and only get excellent effort grades which are reflect by my usual 7's both in a term and in the final year exams in my hl subjects. The rest of my grades for my standards are 6(english) 7 economics and 6 spanish. I am thinking of joining some math competitions so that i can add a few awards to my cv and also would you recommend the MUN(model united nations)? As i am doing th ib diploma i have to complete atleast 150 hours in ec's which i have been doing so far. There are very few clubs in my school so i have no oppurtunity to head a club.
Though i have not taken computer science my score in Grade 10 was 95%(internal assessment went a biit awry).
Thank you

I asked this questions yesterday, while many of the answers were helpful, I am hoping for more responses this time.

I am interested in attending a prestigious college in the United States. I have good grades, am taking rigorous classes(honors and AP), and am in a lot of academic extracurricular activites. If you have attended an extremely prestigious school I am curious to know what set you apart from other people who applied. I have heard that students who are getting into Harvard are those who are already publishing books. How true are statements like that one? Your helpful answers are greatly appreciated!
