Do you find that strange?

I'm a freshman in hs, and currently have a 4.0 (also athletic and play instruments).. though not super outstanding at any.. i also participated in CJSF in middle school (california junior scholarship foundation) altho i dont know what that does.. i got a sticker on my 8th grade diploma tho lol

Besides Howard what are some good schools African American and Latino students can go to with a good representation of themselves and also a reasonable rep and academic standing? I'm thinking about going to Howard but i want a school that is a little more diverse but still has a good number of African Americans. I also want to stay on the East Coast because i love the culture over here. If i left here i'd miss the music, people, fashion, etc.

Been accepted to all three, money isnt too really a problem.
I am a texas resident so UT would be closer to home, and i have more friends going to ut.

But NYU seems like a better school, and i was born in nyc, and going to and studying in nyc would be awesome.
Boston College, i also got accepted to, but idk...

So i ask, where would u go?

is cal a good school for pre-med? all i have been hearing is it's too big, too competitive, and even with intense studying i might not be able to get the grades i need to go to a top med school. does anyone have any information about this? is all of this true, or would berkeley be a good stepping-stone to where i want to go? i am more than willing to work hard for my grades (as i would have to at any college to get to med school), and i'm hoping that a berkeley degree really will open doors for grad school. my other choice is boston college, where i would probably receive more personal attention, seeing as it has <10,000 kids. i am a CA resident and money is not an issue. i just don't think BC is as impressive... any advice as to what i should do? thank you in advance for helping!

I just finished a two year program in mechanical engineering technology. And got a job paying about $1400 a month. Is going back to college worth quiting my current job and having to find another after I finish getting a bachelors degree. My second choice is to stay around town and pick another major such as business. And also to get a diploma in air conditioning technology which relates to my job.

I want to go into dentistry and become an orthodontist. There is no such major as pre-dentistry so I figured I should do something close/related like biology. Thus, I put biochemistry as my major for all my colleges when I applied. However, I don't like biology all that much and I heard your major doesn't really matter when applying to med school/dental school/etc. For instance, my friend told me he was a history major and still got into cornell med school. So would it be bad if I decided to change my major to math or something else if I still want to become an orthodontist? Will it affect me when I apply for dental school? Also, is changing my major recommended or should I stick with biochem even if it may be harder for me? Thanks!!

You know we should like keep at least 10 m16's or AK47's in each classroom. Of course they should be locked up and released only when crazy people start shooting up the place .

i am very unsure as to what job I want to take. I have no planned future career path, or even what sector i would like to work in.

Is it worth me studying for a degree, possibly in religious studies/philosophy, if i have no idea what i want to do>

Will just having a degree make me stand out in interviews?
