Besides Howard what are some good schools African American and Latino students can go to with a good representation of themselves and also a reasonable rep and academic standing? I'm thinking about going to Howard but i want a school that is a little more diverse but still has a good number of African Americans. I also want to stay on the East Coast because i love the culture over here. If i left here i'd miss the music, people, fashion, etc.

I would suggest Morehouse, Spelman, Xavier and Georgetown. They are very good universities.

If you want a little more diversity even though the above colleges are pretty diverse, I would suggest University of Miami, Florida International University, Columbia, George Washington, Wake Forest.

Avoid University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin, Ohio State and University of Florida, those universities say one thing but turn a blind eye to the racism in their faculty, staff and student population.

Howard is the college that I received my first degree, even if some think that my research questions for an upcoming very noted project with two other prominent African Americans may be stupid. Anyway, there is Spelman, Georgetown, NCCU, Shaw, St, Augustines which are all good schools. Best wishes in your educational endeavors
