is there any site or university has this degree on line (doctorate on line) for international student ?
e- learning only

i am Egyptian , not USA , so , please tell me how to get my degree on line only with out any traveling.

To answer your question, it is possible. Here are just a few regionally accredited universities that do it.

Walden University
Northcentral University
Capella
University of Phoenix
Nova Southeastern.

The unasked question is: Should I do it? For a doctorate, you don't want to end up at a lousy school. That will qualify you to be underemployed as a Yahoo Answers Level 7, but not much else.

No you can't get one. A doctorate is only meaningful if you get it from an accredited school. You cannot get an accredited PhD from an online school - period.

If you want a PhD from a non-accredited online school, then I have a much better and cheaper option. Simply create your own diploma on PowerPoint and print it from your home computer. Much easier, much cheaper, and worth exactly the same academically.

You can get a doctorate on-line -- but not from a good school. No one will take you (or it) seriously.

You should only get a doctorate is you are serious about research and you should get it from the best school possible.

that has to be the worst idea i have ever heard... online learning is bad enough without cutting out all teaching and conference-based experiences... you can't get anywhere close to the same educational experience...
