Some dorms are apartment style, where a couple bedrooms share a private bathroom. But for traditional dorms, there are a few toilet stalls, a few showers (with doors or curtains) and lockers you can keep your toiletries in.

You will want to bring a pair of flip flops (to protect your feet in the shower) and a bathrobe (so you can get in the shower, close the curtain, take off your robe and hang it up outside.

i won't be able to talk approximately dorm life bc i did no longer stay in a dorm. yet SF State has a popularity of being a commuter campus meaning the ambience would be chilly (every person is preoccupied with themselves and their very very own families at homestead). I even have even heard an SF State professor say that he does not even attempt to bear in mind the names of scholars bc he gets a clean bunch of scholars each semester. OTOH, there are professors who to bear in mind the names of scholars and get in touch with on them by ability of brand call in school. The dorm appears like a physically powerful concept bc this is like a city the place ppl can get to understand one yet another. Plus the dorms are plenty closer to training. some ppl commute over an hr to get to SFSU and that i'm beneficial that it will no longer take you that long to get to classification from the dorms. All in all, i think of that dorm residing is a physically powerful possibility to make new buddies. ok, you won't be friends with every person there, yet a minimum of you've got a circle of buddies. good success! have relaxing! the college years would be the terrific cases of your life. learn demanding, yet additionally enable your self to have some unfastened time.

There's usually at least a shower curtain for privacy. It really depends though, some schools have bathrooms with 10 showers and a few toilets where you can be in there with however many girls, some will have bathrooms with one toilet, one shower, and a door that locks.

Well that really depends on the college. If you go to a college that is well known for great facilities (Pepperdine), you will get dorms and bathrooms like a king. Pepperdine is probably the nicest when it comes to facilities.
