MTV plicy of 70 percent local content has resulted in some of the networks most creative shows, such as MTV brazil's month-long Rockgol,a soccer chapmionship that pits BRazillian musician against record industry executives. In russia, the locaaly produced Twelve Angry viewers was voted one of Russia's top three talk programs. In a colorful studio amid bright blue steps and large green cushions,a dozen teens watch and discuss the latest videos.Periodically they break into spontaneuous dance or pop one another over the head with inflatable lollipop.Okay it is not chekhov. But russian groups beg to be featured on it.

Next year I'll be looking at schools to go away to and I'm looking to go into business. And since my parents are telling me, "Missouri has to be in the schools name," I'd figure I better look in Missouri. So if anyone has any input let me know.

I am a HS Senior. I am going to go to a community college in the Fall because college costs are ridiculously high. I want to know if transfer students (who have their associates degree) can double major at a 4-year university. I am torn between the Recreation Management Major & Physical Education Major and can't choose...I have been working for my county's Parks & Rec. for a few years now as a Soccer/Basketball Instructor (similar to a PE Teacher) and as a Field/Gym Supervisor (similar to a Recreation Manager/Director)....I have enjoyed both a lot and I look forward going to work after school everyday...So can transfer students double major? I am going to go to school in Virginia if that helps...

In college, my major will be pre-med, and my minor will be biology. I was just wondering what kind of minor other pre-med students had and what kind of degree did you get? Was it a bachelor of science degree?

I went to university for about one year for pre-med. I wasnt doing so well, and my university barely had any open classes for my major when it was time for me to register. Now I'm deciding that pre-med isnt for me, and I need to change my major. I want to change it to something still in the health/medical field... but not going back to pre-med. I am looking for something fast and still in the biology field [so I wouldnt feel like i wasted a year worth of classes]

EVERYBODY that I know tells me to go back and finish my degree but I don't know if I should. I took this semester off to save some money and focus on what I really want to study at university. I have come to the conclusion that my marks were never really great in university because I was not interested in it and I find it very difficult to learn from books and to memorize things for exams.
Since taking the semester off I got a really good paying government job that I love. I really enjoy what I do and I make more money than some people I know that have degrees. I can picture myself working for the government until I retire. So why should I go back to school? In a way I want to go back because I know a post-secondary education is important. In another way I think it will be a waste of time and money to go back since my grades were never great and I would have to give up my good job. What would you do and why?
