In the US, it doesn't really matter which college you go to.

Basically, there are 3 main ways to go about becoming a pharmacist. First, you have to understand that you need to go to pharmacy school eventually. That's a graduate school.

Now, what most people do is to get a bachelors degree from a 4 year university. You major doesn't really matter, just make sure you take all the classes that the pharmacy school you're applying to asks for. Just pick a pharmacy school, check their admissions section to see their list of required courses.

Now, a smaller number of people get in through 2 other methods:

1st: the direct from high school method. In high school, you apply to a pharmacy school. If they take you, you're in a special program in which you take certain courses in undergrad and then move directly to the pharm school. This is great because not only do you get guaranteed admissions, but you spend less time in undergrad than normal (2 or 3 years instead of the normal 4+).

2nd: apply before getting a bachelors. Some people apply after they've fulfilled the pharm school required courses, but before they've completed a bachelors. Some do this at a 4 yr college, a few do this after finishing community college. It's another way to get in w/out spending too much time in undergrad, but this method seems to have the fewest numbers.

Gosh why do people answer questions without actually "answering" the questions. If you don't get the question stfu and move on. Jeez. Maybe I'm just a little moody today. Anyways.

USC.
Johns Hopkins
UCI
UCLA
UCSD
