You'll need to check with the prospectus of the university you're wanting to go to. If you've done politics at A level, you've got a head start, but as long as you've got good results in the subjects you are doing, and show an interest in politics in your application, you should be OK

im prety sure] u nid some xcelnt credentials to impress ur voters lyk grades, behavior ,involvement in xtra curricular act both in hs and in college...and money of course cause u nid it for the campaign..i also think gud reputation and kinda popularity....but most of all passion and devotion...dedication..u probably know d rest
