I'm still a freshman in college and I'm taking med prereq classes and doing good, but what really scared me is that I was talking to someone who has just graduated from college and applied to several med schools but got rejected from them all, he sais that he had a 4.0 GPA and 42Q in the MCATs, why do you think he didn't get accepted?

i mean, if i will finish my communication engineering course through internet online, will i be eligible for jobs that required a 5 year engineering course?, can i take a board exam? is there any accreditation agency that will validate my knowledge and skills through actual exam or test and give me certification that i am competent to work as a communication engineer and will be as good as school college diploma? I am a very poor person and i cant afford to go to school college cause i am working, but i am above average in intelligence as they say, and i want very much to work as an engineer to advance myself and my family, any help about this, i will appreciate very much and all the people who are in my situation

I've taught full-time as an English professor at a university--both literature and creative writing. I have a Ph.D. and have published fiction and essays. I want to get a way from the phoney-baloney world of academia. I know teaching in a private high school that has high standards might not be the solution, but I'd like to give it a try. How do I go about seeking jobs in this field?

I've looked every where for what you need to qualify to be a nurse, which I technically can do because I have over 5 A-Cs in GCSEs, and most websites are saying to qualify for a degree in nursing, 2 A Levels are required, but I can't find anything on what I can do if I have just AS Levels. I don't really want to do another year at 6th form, but ideally would like to go for the degree. Is there anyone who had only AS's but was allowed to do a degree, or at least a nursing website that allows to send queries such as the one I have?

I asked a question last week on any topics I could use for a persuasive speech, I received 2 answers so it really wasn't much help. My problem now is that the speech is due tomorrow and I still have no idea on what to write it on or how to even start the outline for it. My teacher told me to read chapter 13, well I've done that 3 times now and I'm still lost for words.
Can someone please give me some, any advice that will help me not flunk this class?????
