It depends greatly on the school. Perhaps even who caught you. However coming from experience most high schools will not only give you a referal but contact your parents. Most likely an OSS will be issued. If the school finds it necessary they can even take it up with the school board and suggest an expulsion. Take it from me...I did it once and that was not fun. But if you just don't call in then its unexcused and all missed work won't be able to be made up.

oohh just highschool? they won't really care an absence is nothing big. they will just give you a warning and you will get out of it. that is the worst that can happen. if you get caught playgerizing well that wouold be a different story but what you're asking is kiddie crap.

When I was in high school, the person was given an unexcused absence and was not permitted to make-up any work that was missed for that they.

I agree with Chuck, this happened to me when I was a child. The school simply notified my mother and then I got one of the worsrt spankings of my lifetime.

the school will most probably notify your parents on the forgery. What ever punishment the school implement on you will depend on the discipline master or whoever handling this case.
