Are there certain places you should try to get an internship at or what are some prestigious schools to look at where you can major in music management?

Well, not exactly career guidelines, but is there any site that gives you the information of how many years you have to study in a career.
Ex. Exactly how many years do you have to study after high school to become a psychiatrist.

Thank You.

I have just started on my Master's, and would like any advice from those who have been to grad school for how to make the most of it and make the best grades (because I would like to go for a Ph.D once I am finished with my Master's). I am in a counseling psy program if that makes a difference to any of your answers. :)

Is that a good way to choose a major I don't like but have a high chance to be accepted by colleges than tranfer to what I want to major later?
For example, I want to major in business, but I have better achievements in math and science, so I want to apply for engineering first and then transfer to business department after one or two semester.
Is this a wise idea or a stupid one?

I'm a fifth grader, and I want to know what books I'm going to have to do [or add] to my school schedule. Right now I'm doing math, english, spelling, hand writing, and social studies [maybe science]. But in college, I really want to major in Law Inforcement & Criminolgy. So tell me what I have to do, and if I need to add more books to my school day. And I'm home-schooled. I want to be a) lawyer b) cop or c) a judge. One more thing, what do I do for a Upromise acct.? I've already got it set up but I don't know what my parents need to do, to add points???????????

Im wondering would it be very hard to transition into an RN program? I have a BA in Business mgt which hasnt proven to be very helpful. Seems like healthcare is the only profession thats not actually based on who you know but "DEMAND".

Would it be like starting over from scratch???
