Higher Education (University +) - January 2007

I would like to hear from people who have experience in this. Has anyone attended an online college? How does it work? Do you feel it is a decent alternative to "regular" college?

I am starting classes tomorrow and yet to have my loan money. I have no money to buy the books for my classes, but after talking to the school I am expecting it any day. Could I possible make it through the first class or two without my books? I have my chemistry lab scheduled for the first day of classes as well?

I am trying to figure out how I am going to pay for college without taking out loans. I have good grades and everything, but those aren't getting me the necessary scholarship money to completely pay for college without me having to go into debt. What are some helpful hints to paying for college? I am also working all that I can and still can't come up with the necessary money. Please help me with some good ways in order to pay college WITHOUT any debt!!!!!!

I am thinking of becoming a dentist. Are the science courses in universities very hard like organic chemistry, biology, antanomy. Are they very hard? How is the work load? Are the tests extremlly diffiuclt? Ant tips on how to get a 4.0? Thanks.

I read somewhere that it doesn't, but then on the Brown website it has a link to something about a business school. It doesn't have much information there. Basically, it's just a couple of paragraphs saying something about students and the MBA program. I'm confused. I really wanna go to Brown, but if there's not a business school then that's not gonna be possible. Please help.

okay this last semester in college was really bad for me and I stayed the whole semester and didnt pay anything cause of financial problems. So the school is withholding my grades and not allowing me to register for the spring semester. So I moved back in with my parents and signed up for community college but the thing is I told them I was a first time in college student because they would have asked for my grades from my previous college and I dont have those. Can I get in trouble for that?

How much do I have to do to get into stanford or harverd, I scored a 2250 on my SATs! Over my years of highschool I have done AP World History, AP US History, AP Studio Art, AP Spanish IV, and all four years, (including now) AP English....Honors Biology, Honors Calculus, Honors Chemistry.....I have a 4.7, am getting A's in each of my classes. I did 100 hours of volunteer work, and am doing extra curriculum activities; I'm on the varsity ski team, and vasrsity Cross Country running. I attending Yale my Junior year summer; I was accepted because I started a club at my highschool that was not yet there, called JSA (Jouner states of ametica)-a political club. My 8th,9th, and 10 grade year I attending my local college to get credits....I'm am part of the Art Club, CSF(California Scholastic Federation), First Priority, and BLA (Business Leaders of America... WHAT MORE DO I NEED!!??
