Do I necessarily have to get a Masters degree first? If so how important is it where I get my Masters and which program I choose? Any information will be useful as I am just getting started. Thank-you.

If for instance study conditions didn't improve/made better for students.

Here are some nifty ideas, though who would ever take them seriosuly in the real world.

1. No assignments should have a due date within at least 7 (if not 10) days of other assignment's due date.

2. No Full Time Student undertaking a weight of at least 75% (Three Quarters maximum study load or greater) should have to study for more than the eqvilalent standard hours of full time work (in Australia) which is 38 - 40 hours per week.

3. Students be given financial incentives, et cetera to study at night and on weekends.

4. Students shall be entitled to sick leave after the completion of at least 6 to 9 months of study/enrolment.

5. Student "Ordinance" shall be examined and reviewed in order to make life for students much better in the interests of Student Health, well-being and welfare.

6. University ("Higher Education") staff shall all become subject to "Staff Ordinance" in interests of Student Health/WB.

I have this grad assistantship that according to them I work "20 hours" a week and in return they pay for my education. My assistantship is in the student activities, it is however very time comsumiing and the 20 hours are more like 25 and a VERY spread out 25 hours a week which makes getting a second job- insanely difficult. In any case I feel as if I have this pointless job and the administration holds over my head that my education is free. But whats the point of a free classes - when I cant afford the textbooks to pass the classes? Every other grad assistant I know doesnt have another job or work side jobs once in a while and their parents pay for all their expenses- mine do not! Should I stay in the position? I'd like to know your opinion.

I need to take this test next fall semester since I will be graduating in May of 2008 and plan to go on to graduate school for psychology. I have heard that this test is brutal, but nothing specific about what kind of questions are on the test. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what types of questions they ask and if there are any books or websites I could visit to prefer for the test.

Thanks!

For example if an honor society wants you to be top 10% of your class, how do you know if you're the top 10 percent? Can you just know from your GPA or do you have to ask someone etc?

My friends tell me that in general a MBA is not worth the price (tuition + leave from work). Others have said that in the engineering field the MBA holds little respect. And, most people tell me that it's only worth it when you go to a top level school. What do you think?
