It really depends on the school. At my university, they try to limit you to 19 credit hours per quarter. You can go over if you want, but then you have to pay per each additional credit hour which can add up to a lot of money. On average though, people take around 15-18 credits.

Totally depends on the school. Probably 18 or so in undergrad. I'm in dental school and we have 27 hours this semester.

It totally depends on the school. At my communtiy college the limit is 16 i think.

I would think that most people would say that 18 is about max. But you will have to check with your own registrar.
