How do I convert an Egyptian percentage point average into the American GPA?

I have a grade point average of 70% and it's considered average. Anyone has any idea about how to convert it?

I would need a better idea of the scale of grading in Egypt - but I would guess either a 2.7 or a 3.0 GPA

Well the thing is that GPAs are calculated in different schools. But I believe anything between 2.5-3.0 is average, which translates between a C+ & B

well, at my university, 69 and below was an "F", so you'd be a D minus where I went to school.
