I'm in High School, I have no idea what each type of business major means and I think I hope to do business some day, but I don't know what majors will lead me to what. What are some good schools for each?

Accounting majors become accountants for a CPA firm or for a company. They can also go into tax work. I think accounting majors get more specific jobs whereas the other business majors can get into more areas but would need additional training.

Management majors - well, management jobs just about anywhere

Marketing majors - probably would go into sales but could go into management as well.

Finance majors - could work at commercial, investment, or retail banks, could work in finance departments at any company, or could go into management. Also private equity companies pay really well and will hire finance majors. If you can find a job as a mutual or hedge fund manager on the buy side you can make great money.

General business - management; this one is broad so you could probably get in anywhere and have to be trained in something specific

There is also real estate majors, financial consulting, and other variations. Check with the schools you are looking at and what they offer. Once you get in and declare your major, there will be resources, usually in their libraries, that tell you what kinds of jobs you can get with your major. A lot of times, companies go directly to business schools and recruit.

I don't know what area you are in but check with your big state schools. Also check to see which schools are accredited by the AACSB. There are other accreditations out there but AACSB is the big one. You could get a good business education at a non AACSB accredited school, such as a liberal arts college, but AACSB is considered the standard, so I think that has some weight.

Also check out the AACSB website. If you click on the individual schools, it will tell you what majors are offered at the accredited schools. They also separately accredit accounting programs too so if you want to do an accounting major definitely see if the school is accredited by the AACSB in accounting.

IT- all jobs are overseas

The best logistics guy I know is an engineer by training. It doesn't matter really where you go for your engineering degree, as long as the program is ABET accredited. Engineering takes study to pick up and know well, business you can pick up on the fly or at some awesome graduate program that your employer pays for when you are good and ready. Best, Jello
