Are there certain places you should try to get an internship at or what are some prestigious schools to look at where you can major in music management?

connections, connections, connections. go to a school in a city that offers good internships and has connections to the music industry. look into schools in LA and NYC.

My understanding is that this business is very shaky, with many low paid jobs at the bottom and a few highly paid people at the top. I'd suggest strongly that you go to a good college and get a good education, forgetting for now about working in the music business. If you are still interested after you graduate, pursue the career at that time.

Go to collage somewhere. England has good schools to get into the music industry.
