An undergraduate student is someone attending college after hight school, and will get a Bachelor's degree in usually 4 years (usually 240 semester hours) A Graduate student is someone who is in school to get a Master's (36-42 semester hours with a thesis or a cap study).

Good luck.

One more thing, a Post-Graduate is someone studying to get a PhD level degree.

I'm from Canada.

However, I believe the system of advanced education in both countries are quite similar.

Undergraduates are people who are in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th....etc year in university that has not graduated with a degree.

Graduates are individuals who have already attained their bachelor's. When an undergraduate graduates with a bachelor degree, they become graduates.

Hope this helps!
