Is that a good way to choose a major I don't like but have a high chance to be accepted by colleges than tranfer to what I want to major later?
For example, I want to major in business, but I have better achievements in math and science, so I want to apply for engineering first and then transfer to business department after one or two semester.
Is this a wise idea or a stupid one?

Engineering admissions are usually much more difficult than business admissions, and the necessary introductory courses are very different.

When you begin college, in your first year, you will be required to take the introductory courses in your first year of study (usually Physics and Calculus for engineering, for example). These courses are not the same for each field. So if you were to transfer into another college (from the Engineering College to the Business College in the same university, for example), you would have to start over with the introductory courses in business, and your physics and calculus courses would not count toward your business major (although they would count as electives).

Tell the truth in admissions. Your math and science achievements will make you a very good candidate for admissions in the business field.

You would be far better off to choose business as your major from the get go, or to list undeclared on your application and take general education courses during your first two years and take the introductory to business course in your first semester. If you decide you like business after taking that course than you can apply for the major after you have completed 12 courses in that area with a C or better. Initial admissions to the entire college in general will be looking at SAT or ACT scores, high school rank, and gpa. To major in engineering and then change it just messes up the classes that your advisor will want you to take and you will end up taking unneccessary classes. Do not cheat yourself on time. Either go straight into business or go undeclared to start with!
