I'm a single mother of a young child and I work a full time 8-5 job. I want to earn a degree in human resources, but with my already jam packed schedule, attending classes will not work for me. I am concerned that I will put time and money into an online program/college to obtain a worthless degree. What online colleges/universities actually supply positively recognized degrees?

The Finals are less than a month away, and while I see all my batchmates slog it out, I don't feel guilty about not studying. I don't feel motivated enough. Is there any way in which I would be able to effectively use all the time I have in hand and still do well?

I'm really proud of my son. He works really hard to get good grades and wants to go to college and believes he will get a good career after college.

Have I set him up for disappointment with the idea that good grades and good college and living a moral life will get him a good life as an adult?

I'm a high school drop out, so I'm not sure how many kids who followed the work hard in school ended up with good careers after college. I'm just worried that by telling him this path is the way to go that I might be talking about something I know nothing about.

I will be going to college in a few months. I hope to do a Master's in Mathematics and hopefully a Phd in Astronomy. I really dont see myself working in a multi-national corporation. I want a job that involves creative thinking. I heard mathemetics at college level is really abstract.

I'm planning to get my Master's in Public Health, and I am trying to figure out which program is the best/most reputable. Since I work full time, I need to do a distance program, and I've narrowed it down to 6 or 7. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about which schools are best.

Thanks!

I'm going back to college this fall and I'm trying to decide which school I should go to. Its between a private school that is going to run me around $90,000 for my B.A. of interior design or a state school for a B.S. of interior design for about $40,000. My dad isn't helping me pay for school and I just need an outside objective opinion.
