I'm wondering because the school I'm going to is under probation from it's accreditation commision and it's next review is in December of 2007 but I graduate (hopefully) in August of 2007. Will my degree still hold weight if I got it before and if the accreditation is removed?

I wanted to be a teacher for most of my life, but now I don't want to do that. I have nothing that I would want to do with the rest of my life for a career, like I'm not passionate about biology or business or law or medicine, etc. I'm passionate about my family and friends and things... but just nothing I want to do for a career. I'm a junior in college so I need to figure it out pretty damn quickly. I've got a 4.0, I'm not lazy or stupid... I just don't have a dream job. What's a good degree that anyone can use to find a good job that would provide a secure income? Thanks!

My GPA is a 3.4 and PCAT is fairly good. But I heard to get into pharmacy school, one has to be involved in community service. I never had experience working in the pharmacy dept because I am not certified. I am doing well in classes but don't have much commmunity service or experience. What are my chances of getting into University of Houston pharmacy school?

I understand that it's not a good idea to form relationships with professors while still in the class (favoritism, etc.). But why is it such a big deal when a prof becomes involved with a student who will never be his student again? Especially if they are both single and in and around the same age? Why would this jepeardize a professors job? I like my professor (used to be professor ) a lot, and I get the feeling he likes me. He spends a lot of time talking with me in his office and he often looks at me in ways that makes me think he does like me. I want to ask him for coffee but haven't because I've heard this might jepeardize his job. I don't mind as much that he might turn me down since I'm no longer his student. But what's the big deal anyway? Why can't we be free to date if we both want to? Lawyers date their clients all the time.

I have been accepted at SFU but what I really want to know is your personal opinion or your experience. Any gossips about the school's standard will do.

I'm currently in highschool but I've been looking over a few colleges. I'm particularly interested in UNLV. However, I currently live in California and i don't know how hard it is to go to an out-of-state college. Any information on UNLV would be greatly appreciated, as well as any advice on going to an out-of-state college. I'm still deciding whether to major in pharmacy, business, or engineering.

OK, I am in high school, and looking for college. I am interested in the Computer Science Field. I figured MIT was one of the best choices. So does anybody know anything about it/currently take classes there. -OR- Does anyone have any other suggestions for a good technical college. If you have a suggestion, please make sure that it is an urban college.

Thanks for any answers given, everybody!!!!!!!

I live in AZ right now but am thinking of moving to CA in a few months. I just wanted to know if my record would affect me getting into nursing school since it is my dream. I've also thought about becoming a Criminologist as well. I just don't want to waste time pursuing something that I love to find out that I won't be able to do it. If anyone knows anything please let me know! Thanks!

First I am a senior in a high school in California and have applied to UCs.
Last semester, I received D in AP biology with less than 0.1% away from C. Although I asked the teacher for extra credits or so she is strict that unless, she would not change the grade.
Right now, I am writing letters to UC campuses' office of admission to notify this failed course. (First time ever in school life I received D)
My question is how will this affect my addmission into UC?
