They are all good, don't know where you are in California. Junior colleges are the best value for the 2 yr ADN but they are nearly all severely impacted. If money is an issue, but you have time and can travel, you can move somewhere there is a junior college that doesn't have a long waiting list and get your BSN later. I agree you should get your BSN eventually but no rush.
No CSU vs UC doesn't matter, heck any school is fine as far as getting a job as an RN in California, all the employers want is that you have a clear and valid RN license and are breathing. They are desperate, there is a huge nursing shortage.

Where you get your Nursing Degree from doesn't matter. I would suggest getting through your BSN, though, since the market will be flooded with ADNs here in a couple years. The BSN will make you more marketable to employers, plus will give you a larger diversity of options in your career.
CSU vs UC doesn't matter much at all. CSU will save you a little money, as UCs cost a little more. Have you thought about going to a Junior COllege/Community College first, then transferring into a Nursing program at a University?
If you are looking for a good Nursing program, the one at Santa Rosa Junior College is a very thorough program. I used to go to school there, and I know that they have a LOT of people applying each year.
Make sure that you get all the prerequisites done for the program that you want to get into...then kick the heck out of your grades in those classes...as most programs don't even consider you if you have under a 3.0...some even 3.5.
Email me if you have more questions about this.

It doesnt really matter. I imagine if you were planning to be some hotshot nursing administrator you might go after a bachelors at a university-UC will always be a better name to have on the resume than any of the cal states. I would go the JC route if I were going for an RN though. there is such a shortage you will be getting a good job no matter what

properly, by way of asserting "i do no longer have faith those human beings" approximately human beings you have in no way met, you particular are not doing all your son any favors. you're coaching skepticism, judgement and particular hatred of suitable strangers. little ones learn new issues, make buddies and enhance socially while placed into daycare or nanny circumstances. Secondly, you mustn't ought to "preserve" your husband. If and once you come back to a determination to pass lower back to college, he must be chuffed to manage a million/2 of the family responsibilities - laundry, cleansing, cooking nutrition once you get caught up with classification or homework, etc. possibly you are able to take night training whilst he watches the toddler. As stimulated and self sustaining as you're, you are able to't be in extra suitable than one place at a time. all of us ought to make sacrifices quicker or later, so come to a determination what your priorities are, talk to your husband and take it from there.
