I need to buy medical textbooks in french for a friend in the Democratic Republic of Congo who is in Medical School but is unable to obtain textbooks in his country.

I'm sending out my law school applications soon, and I got 23 of them! I know thats a lot, but I was worried about getting into a school, or I should say a good school.
Yesterday, my professor, who is not an attorney told me that if I go to one of my out-of-state schools, like Brooklyn Law School, or South Texas School of Law, they will not have any recruiters from California there to conduct interviews...which makes sense. My plan is to work for the District Attorney, in Orange County, where I live. But my professor says that they will prefer alumni from CA law schools.

Hopefully I will go to a law school in California. But if I go to an out-of-state school, and its not Harvard or Yale, do you think I will be able to make the connections and transition back to California and become and District Attorney here???

right. well at the moment i'm at a private school. but for 6th form im considering leaving. if i leave i will go to a 6th form college which has a good reputation. i was just wondering if anyone has been in the same situation as me and would advise me/not advise me to go to college.

i needed to write a personal reflective essay. Topic was coming out of the fog, and i wrote that i had learning disablity in my childhood which i did not know,up untill now. but for some reason i need to change the subject. i put together a very nice essay,and it took me a while to write. can somebody suggest me another subject which i can fit to my esay topic easily. i need to write about my childhod memories and again need to write form adult point of view,and what you have learned what you did noyt know before. i do not recall anything and need to write essay soon. please sugget something.

I have worked for my present employer for 14 years, and while working on continuing my education, I have obtained 2 upper level college degrees, and now I am 60 hours toward my Phd. Yet, I cannot even get to the bargaining table when I apply internally, and yet the selected candidates are less qualified in the final selection.

I want a bachelors degree, but most usually say, you ahve to enroll in an associates degree frist, adn then a bachelors, after you complete the ***. which means there are two tuitions costs, god, its complicated.

I am a young practicing corporate attorney with an interest in business. Eventually, I would like to make a transition to something more financially involved and entrepreneurially oriented. Business school seems an ideal place for me because I can build my business knowledge by taking accounting and finance classes (thus, giving myself the business background that I do not have now).

Do business schools value legal experience without a business background? Would I be better off taking a signficant paycut to try and do something financially oriented now to help myself get into business school?

Any help and suggestions are much appreciated!

I'm interested in Environmental Science and Writing. I'm looking into Bates, Colby, and Bowdoin. COA looks kind of neat, but the size is not what I'm looking for in a school, and I want someplace where I can meet more people but at the same time find a tight knit group I fit into. Bates...and the others are reaches for me. I'm a Junior, but hey if I got into one of them then that would be amazing. I plan on a 3.5 gpa end of senior year, working really hard this year and next. I'm not so hot at testing, looking at 600s in the english portion, but probably a 550 on the math section SAT. I'm a smart kid but math isn't my strong point. Good at talking and stuff so definitely will interview! So if any alums or current students or super smart college guru kind of people want to give me some advice about them, and what I need to get in that'd be wonderful. Thanks a bunch=)
