Choose the school with the better program. It's not worth it to sacrifice your education to save money. The extra knowledge you get will help you gain even more pay.
Also, definitely find out which one will help you find a good paying job when you graduate.

There's two things you have to think about: quality and cost.
Which school has the better interior design course?
Remember, don't choose a private school because it will look good on a resume. As long as the college is accredited, that's all you need.
If they're similar, then cost is the issue. If that's the case, the state school is the better option. In the long run, graduates of private colleges don't earn significantly higher incomes than public college graduates.
Because of those facts and because your dad isn't helping you pay for school, you should seriously consider the state school. You'll get a good education but with less debt.

My experience has taught me that after college it's up to you, and the name or college really doesn't matter. If you apply yourself well at the state school, when you talk to employers or even do your own thing, your real education will shine, and that doesn't depend on the school. So given the big money difference, I'd prefer the lower cost. Also, lots of debt after an education is a real bummer and holds you back even more.

After graduation, unless a prospective employer is a graduate of the private school, I don't think they care where you went as much as how goods your grades are. The degree means the same thing, so save yourself 50 grand and throw a party inviting the people on Y!A, well some of us. LOL

You should ask yourself: what is the value of the additional funds. For example, will the private school provide better education leading to greater success; or, will the "name brand" of the private school enable you to get a higher paying job. One other factor to look at is the lifestyle you will experience at both these institutions--is one radically more appealing than the other?

How many credits do you have now?...If you have very few...I would go to Community College for your Assoc's degree and THEN go to a good State school. You will save a bundle and , in the end, have a degree and the same salary bracket when you start working. Why waste the $$...it is pointless

Here's a thought. University fees in the UK run to about £1000 ($1800?) a year for UK residence and maybe £1500 to £2000 a year for overseas students. Why not study over here?

Congratulations on going back to school.
What you put into your education is what you get out.
Go to the State School. Remember to get involved into social networking in your field.
90K is alot of debt coming out of school and no gurantee of a job.
Good luck

If you think both schools are great, you need to go with the less expensive one.
If the private school is your preferance and accredited, I'd say go there.

do what you need to do for the best education/future. if it means 90 a year for a better school, then do it and worry about money later-when youre rich.
if theyre about the same education/oppportunity-wise then the 40 school.
but either way do whats in your heart and worry about money later.
