Greetings. I am a 20 year-old third-year Psyc student at Queen's University. In two and a half years, I have switched programs twice and am still not entirely sure if I want a degree in Psychology. I have recently been considering taking next year off to spend time away from school to consider my future and to make money, which is a big issue right now. Since I switched into Psychology in second year, I still have two more years left of the undergrad degree. My only real fears in taking a year off are no wanting to return to school and leaving a great group of friends, but I will still be able to see them from time to time.

Now that I've explained the basic situation, I'm looking for unbiased opinions on my situation from people who don't know me

I was writing the question and had it removed, I suppose it was too long ... anyway, an international dental school lists these degrees offered, and I know its medical school accepts students right after high school but I believe I'm changing my career path:

The Faculty awards the following degrees:
1- B.D.S. (five years)
2- Intermediate Diploma (Two years)
3- M.Sc. (two years)
4- Ph.D. (three years)

Uh...not exactly sure what that means. So, what are the degrees awarded to dentists here after the take all the "steps", how does it look like for foreign graduate students in the dental scene, and what does it mean to practice general dentistry and not specialize (something unheard of in medicine)?

like if the deadline is January 15, and someone applies in Novemember and I apply January 1st, are they going to give preference or take the person who applied in Nov more seriously than me? Or is it basically as long as you make the deadline, you are given equal opportunity.

I just got accepted to Ross university for vet school, but I am worried about a few things.
1) Being stuck on an island 2,000 miles away from everyone for four years.
2) The high cost of moving to an island. ie-car, rent, higher food cost.
3) Being so far in debt (estimated debt being $250,000).

I feel like I am an idiot for being accepted into vet school but turning them down because I am scared of going out so far to go to school when there are other vet schools right in my area.

If anyone has gone to or is going to Ross and you can give me some input, I would be most appreciative.

I'm graduating this March and passed Napfa with silver, Pes B. When are the polytechnic students usually enlisted? I cannot estimate my enrolment date for university because I have no idea when I am enlisted and when I can ORD. As such, I don't know whether to tick the 2009 Sept intake or request for the 2010 intake.

Let’s say: After preparing for the GMAT, you decide to take the actual test to see where you stand. You haven’t selected any particular business school, so you will be the only one getting the results.

Imagine two possible scenarios:

a.You get a great score. If a couple of years later you want to apply to a particular business school, could you use those same scores? How? Is it advisable?

b.You get a low score. You retake the test a couple of years later and get a better score. So, if then, you want to apply to a particular business school, which scores will the admission committee be able to see? Both or just the upgraded one?

I am 19, single, and I have two little girls, I will qualify for FAFSA because of my income level.

I just think it's really daunting and scary. But I want a good future for my daughters and myself. But I am worried about paying for daycare while I'm in class and just being able to afford everything. I know the grant will not pay for everything.

So should I go?
