particularly in postgraduate study in geophysicis or petroleum geoscience.
I learned that imperial college is the best among others but it's very expensive and living cost is also high in london. What about leeds, manchester, or aberdeen?
I'm from asia, considering tropical weather here --which place will fit us best to study?

You can't go wrong in choosing one of these, though different universities are strong in different subjects and their admission requirements vary: Oxford, Cambridge, London University, especially University College, London School of Economics, Manchester, Bristol. Perhaps a little less famous but still strong: Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, York. Consult a Handbook of British or Commonwealth Universities, perhaps at the British Council in your area. What does admission at a particular university require? Does it require you to undertake additional preparation? What are the tuition fees? Can you get a scholarship? In terms of location, London is one of the most international cities in the world.
As for specialization, London University has a famous school of Tropical medicine. The London School of Economics has a well-known department of Global Economics. You need to match the strengths of a university with your own strengths.
Apart from the universities I mentioned, there are others which may be slightly easier to get into: Oxford Brookes University, for instance, has I believe good courses in Computers and in the Health Sciences.
Narrow your choice down in the light of some of these criteria, get information first through the Internet and then by writing to the universities themselves and asking for their catalogues, though some of these may be available at the British Council.
