Well well well. I graduated Harvard and trust me the Admissions Committee like people who know how to spell at least the word "college". And plus all Ivy League schools made a law that they will not give out any scholarships for sports so your football skills won't help. I would go to a community college in your place.

First of all I have a hard time believing that someone with your alleged aptitude can not spell to save their life. Second of all if you can get into Harvard then you should go without even thinking unless you are weighing other IVY league options, a degree from an Ivy League School sets you up for life, the Alumni networks always take care of their own so even if you work like you spell you will always be able to find a job.

You should weigh your options and see what you can afford with grants and loans. Sit down and list the pros and cons of each. What is best for one person might not be best for you. You should also work on your spelling and grammer, since that will be very important for your application. Are there any other options? Another college? Research ones that you might get a scholarship for with your football. Also look into grants for any of your activities. Many groups will award them based on this. You are going to have to do a lot of searching, but it will be worth it if you can go to college cheaper. Also keep in mind going "away" to school although scary is also a lot of fun and will give you life experiences you might not otherwise get. Good Luck!

Some like to start in a community college then move up to a university. Apply to the university and colleges and see what happens. Do what you feel is best and what you are comfortable with, maybe speak with your parents about it too.

You have a great gpa, but how about your sat scores? To get into harvard, you must have an excellent sat score. Otherwise, you can go community college to save some money and then go to harvard.

Hmmm, since you can't spell or use spell check, I would recommend a community college.

You definitely don't have a 4.8...apply to both. It can't hurt.
