I'm stuck. I thought "proglimate" or some version of this, spelling-wise, was a word, that meant to "further promote", for example: "The defamation of character she experienced was further proglimated by the actions her employer took to constructively dismiss her."
Obviously, I've checked an the word I'm using is incorrect -- if anyone has an idea of what I might be thinking of, that would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, Kent.

In response to a question I posted earlier regarding a career assessment test that I had taken someone suggested that I should become a speech pathologist and that I would like it but they didn't say what program of study this occupation falls under and whether or not such occupation requires a Master's degree I imagine it probably does though. thanks for your help!

No matter what other careers there are out in this world, none of them but being vet really appeal to me. I'm a high school sophomore, and im really inspired by other vets, and i too would like to become one.
The classes i've taken so far are: Marching Band, Earth and Enviormental Science Honors, English 1 honors, Civics and Economics Honors, Algebra 1, Concert Band, Spanish 1, and Physical Education/Health.
I am currently taking: Marching Band 2, Biology Honors, English 2 honors, and Computer Applications 1.
My next semester classes are: Concert band, World History Honors, Geometry, and Spanish 2.
I attend South Iredell High School in Statesville, NC.
And I'd like to know what classes I should take for the next two years I'll be in high school, that will help me do good with grades, and help me get into a good college, so i can go to vet. school.
So..yeah. What classes should I sign up for?

In class, I was given the poem "the road not taken" on a photocopied handout. How do i cite the poem for my essay? Do I cite a website that has the poem on it, or do i cite the book that it was originally published in (in 1916).?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Is the reason we call necons and neoliberals "neo" just because latter-day nazis are referred to as neo-nazis? If I was inspired to write some music by listening to Scott Joplin tunes wouldn't I be writing neo-ragtime? Or is neo only for politics?

I plan on being a doctor when I grow up, so I want to major in pre-med, but I love learning a lot of different languages. Don't get me wrong; I love science and medicine too. I just love them both. Also, I learn languages extremely easily.

Also, should I maybe major in one and minor in the other, or do a student-designed major?

I'm in community college, and I haven't joined any clubs yet.

In high school, I had alot of extracurricular activities including a sport. When I entered community college, it all went downhill, because I was in a new school with new people plus I am shy.

Am I doomed? Will no colleges take me because of this?

I've worked in several departments of a local authority and it's getting more and more common for prople to use in letters and now in speech the words'yourself' and 'myself' when they should be using 'you' and 'me' (e.g. I have had a letter from yourself...please address your reply to myself)

Where's it come from? is it becoming universal? Will it become a normal part of english usage? Is it only me whose teeth set on edge when I hear it? Any comments?
