You'll have more freedom with your time, and freedom in what classes you take. You'll also have more responsibility to do your homework and assignments and projects without someone standing over you. If you're in a dorm and away from home, you'll be responsible for your own laundry and cleaning, too. You'll have to work out problems with your roommate without having to appeal to mom or dad.

In other words, you'll be one step closer to being considered an adult. Whether you live up to that is up to you.

College is a world apart from high school. College means not "having" to attend classes every day, making your own schedule, making new friends, new responsibilities.
College was the most fun I ever had, and the hardest work I've ever done. I hope it is for you too.

In my opinion, college is ten times better than high school ever was. Tons of freedom but a lot more responsibility.
