Education & Reference - 19 November 2007

I am new in teaching , I never had lessons in teaching .

I have a class of 14 boys from 3rd grade to 5 th grade .

I am teaching them arithmetical math by using the abacus .

It is really hard to me to control them , they are too active and they have really bad ideas in their minds ( recently i knew about this by accident hearing to a conversation between to of them )

I would like to have some advice about how to deal with boys of their age ,and how to control them .

there is an word like this ;
"i was reading a book two days back when an owlie flew pass."
i think that "FLEW" and "PASS" is both "verb" in sentences.does it right? if it is both "verb",it doesn't make sense i think.isn't it "flew to pass"?

I'm a software engineer. Just 6 months have passed and i have already started contemplating changing my profession. Not that i dont love my work but want to make my life more meaningful.

Fresh out of college, i have fond memories of it and am thinking of joining it as a lecturer.

I know that money could flow in more freely but i guess i can live it with.

'different' and 'same' are both adjectives, so why when we use them in sentences we say "____ and _____ are different" but we use "_______ and _______ are the same"? why do we add "the" in front of same? i just know it's right, but i just don't know why.
