I am a freshman at a local junior college and receive 9k a year with 12+ units. I was wondering if I would possibly get more if I re do my paperwork information because this month I turned 18 so my mom is no longer helping me and I will be living on my own (or with my boyfriend) by the 30th of this month because she is moving out also. Is it possible for me to be a fulltime student and receive enough money to not need a job?

What are things I need to know about a private school. It goes up to 12th grade.

I don't believe it to be accredited, but their comment to me was ' the kids are able to go to college'.

I just started grade 10 and I am suddenly really interested in university. I want to work extrememly hard to get into a great universtity. I did really badly in Jr. high though. I barely got into pure classes. Will that effect my entrance to a good university or do they not look at your Jr. high marks?

I read "The Red Tent" by Anita Diamant, which may not help if u haven't read the book. Now my next task is to write an essay about: love among sisters and siblings, love between parent and child, love of friendship/ companionship, love for a supreme being, love of one's people/community. Compare and contrast these forms of love. What role does each of these play in the development of the individual? How does each of these support or threaten the structure and stability of society?

So those are the guidelines. It would be awesome if anyone could give me a few ideas about any of these things. Even just one. Thanks so much. Please share your thoughts. :))

p.s. I plan to enter some of this essay into the wikipedia section for "The Red Tent"

My four year old has not made progress at his highly acclaimed center based school in the year he has been there. I have lined up a strong team of therapists willing to work with him at home--but I must ask the school district for 30 to 40 home hours. Does anyone have experience with this or have suggestions on how to present this to the school district. I know it will be more expensive to have him home than at school...something a district is sure to weigh. I just can't sit by and watch a boy with potential fail. Thank you.

I was in Air Force ROTC, but i was medically diqualified from the Air Force due to a history of depression. I don't know what else I can do with my Political Science degree other than deliver pizza, and I don't want to go into teaching. I'm wondering if it is worth it to stay in school, considering there isn't much else besides the military.
