Not exactly. Try studying a little harder. Sometimes when you first take a test you don't do so well. Now you know what to expect. Take that and do better next time if there is a next time. Good luck!

sixteen isn't a powerful ACT score. that is under even the NCAA minimum standards for athletes. it isn't the tip of the international, nonetheless. verify what standards the faculties you have an interest have. some are somewhat choosy; others are not. you could take the ACT any form of cases. rankings do not generally flow up all that lots, yet particularly if there have been exterior factors once you took it the 1st time, they are able to flow up. Even raising your score a pair of things to 18 could make the version in admission. in case you nevertheless are not getting the score your wanted college needs, evaluate beginning off at a community college and then shifting. maximum faculties will settle for an associate degree from a community college as assembly all regular practise standards.

it depends on what school you want to go to. Also look at all your scores not just the composite, some schools focus only on the math and english. Because you scored 16 on the ACT you (according to the conversion chart) would have scored 1140 on the SAT, which unfortunately is a 47.5%. Look at your local library for some ACT prep books, they'll help raise your score. Good Luck.

No, it's low. Check the colleges you wish to attend and see what ACT or SAT equivalent you need to get into the school. That will give you an idea of what you need to shoot for.
In 1998 the average score was 21

Uh, no. Most places consider 22-25 to be an acceptable / low average. Above 25 is better, the higher the better, obviously.

no... it's not.
19 is the minimum for most of the colleges and universities to allow you to take classes without remediation. and minimum for scholarships are generally a 24, because the highest score possible is a 36. i suggest some act tutoring classes.

No it's not. The best score you can get is a 32. A good score would be anything above a 25 or so.

No. That's a 50%. Did you take the SAT's? Sometimes people score significantly better on one than the other. In any case, you should probably retake it.
