it's nice when someone posts a homework question that they've actually attempted to do themselves and are just asking for honest help. because of this, i'm going to bless you with my tremendous writing talent - you could say it would be 'an alternate theory' or a 'different theory'.
because i'm so relieved that there are still people attempting to be literate, i will even let you e-mail me through yahoo answers and ask for more help. (you can click on my id icon to the left, then click on the e-mail icon to the right after the new screen appears)
>>update - too frickin' funny - at the same time i was writing this, 2 people got in ahead of me and independently wrote almost the same thing i did - but my spelling is accurate, and 'alternate' is a better use of the word than 'alternative'. and, as a bonus, here's one more 'an additional theory'

Start by saying there are several "Schools of thought", "belief systems", "paradigms", "rotes", "routes", "dogma" etc there are many descriptive terms and go through the list. Arrange these theories according to:
1. Historical dates/ discovery/development
2. Social significance
3. Popularity
4. Birth and death
5. countries currently used
6. taxonomy
