Hi - I am giving a talk this week and have chosen the topic of a (chicken) egg. Can anyone think of any other uses for an egg besides: Cooking, egg flip, painting (Easter), using on the face, juggling, tricks, use of shells (lime) in the garden, immunisation ingredient. Also, does anyone know anything else of interest about the use of the word "egg" (e.g. "egg head"), the largest (?ostrich) and smallest, the most famous, advertising etc. What came first - the chicken or the egg? etc, etc.
I will look up the nutritional value and allergy info.

Here is my problem!! I just graduated from high school class of 07 and just turned 18, i took a break from school only to decide what i wanted to do for my future career i didnt want to rush or feel pressured into going to college (by my family) right after high school so i took a few months off from school.

I have resently registered at my local community college for classes in january but i do not know what classes to take because i want to transfer after one year to UMD or GW (local colleges). I know i like working with cars but from my research as a career it's not enough money for me the base salary is about 30k but i may work on cars as a hobby but not as a career!!

IF YOU WERE ONCE IN A SIMILAR SITUATION HOW DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR CAREER I APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENTS

For those of you who dont know what a defintion essayis, its basically an essay where you focus on something and attempt to desribe it fully. I picked the word "irony" pleez tell me what u think about it, thnx

Ironic, isn’t it?

Blue, red, green, orange, yellow, purple, brown, and pink. Now, what do these all have in common? Yes, that is correct. They are all…. words!!
What’s the matter? Surprised? Now let’s step back for a moment and analyze a typical reaction to the previous passage. When one normally reads the first sentence written above he/she automatically conjures up the category “colors” as a classification and his/her mind is in a state of fixation in which anything out of the ordinary(in this case anything but the word “colors”) would prove to be an instant breech upon human logic and expectancy. The moment the reader comes upon the category “word” as the answer a sudden sensation of awkwardness swarms his/her mind as if something is simply out of place. Who would have thought that the answer would be something so insignificant like “words” when the obvious and traditional answer would be “colors?” Surprisingly, that awkwardness has a name. Its name is irony.
