Georgia O'Keefe has been quoted as saying something like the following, although there are many versions of the quote:
"I've been absolutely terrified every moment of my life -- and I've never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do."
What is the precise phraseology of this quote, when was it spoken, and what was the context in which it was spoken?

Can any of you tell me what group number/family name sulfur is in. The period number of sulfur (what is a period number?), the physical state of when sulfur is found in nature. 6 common physical properties of sulfur. As well as who, when, where and how it was discovered. Also 3 uses it has in society. You don't have to answer all of these, just the ones you know the answer to please.

Whats wrong with the people here on Homework Help. Dont ask questions that have the people answering writing essays for you. I understand if you come on and ask a question about algebra and want to see the steps or ask for an idea on an essay. But why do people ask questions that ask the people answering to do their whole homework for them.

Any thoughts on this subject?

Call me an oxymoron but German and Artist go together like Landlord and Kindly. Maybe it's one of those Damien Hurst things where he freezes Germans and then cuts them in half with a chainsaw so you can see all the cogs and levers inside.

OR
"and will equip me with the skills necessary to succeed in my career"

Is it "necessary skills" or "skills necessary"

I give quite a few answers in homework help under my two screen names, and I always love getting a Best Answer from someone I've helped. A lot of older users of Answers won't give homework help because they think kids are rude and don't bother to award Best Answer when they got good help. I think homework help is about the same as the other categories, people are either rude or polite, kids or not.

If you answer this question: It's not a poll. It's a chance for you to answer why older persons who know lots of stuff should want to give homework help and stop thinking that it's not appreciated. I'll try to pass it on if you can be convincing!

what are these called: replied, questioned, answeared, stutterd, asked, laughed, sighed. These are things you use in a sentenced when writting a quote, such as :

"Yeah. sure!" she REPLIED
"why not?" she ASKED.

i was wondering if someone could tell me what they're called and give me many of them or give me a page i could visit to see examples of them.

I am writing a literary analysis and I've come across what I think is an allusion to Dante's Inferno. The quote is:
"Abandon hope, all ye who enter here"

It looked very familiar. Wasn't this message posted by the gate at the entrance to the hell?

Thanks.
