It means he's not even from Germany...
He's from The Bronx...
And he's not even an "artist..."
He's a "Pie-Maker..."
And not even a very good one at that...(The Lemon Marangue Pie could use a little pizazz...)
(Sorry, Tyler...he set me up for this one...lol...)

Penfold where have been?
Down in London to visit the Queen?
I just broke the words down and found the roots of Germ, an, ar, and tist or ist. It did not work out best for Tyler and I can't relay the meaning I found, it is rude and I want to be endearing here.
If he paints Germans I am sure he has found the cleverest way to do it. Maybe he can tell us his technique.
Remember Richter and Ruben. This could also work,
Richler, Ruben and Durden
Artist's or Law Firm?

The artist is German.Numerous German painters have enjoyed international prestige through their work in diverse artistic currents. Matthias Grünewald and Albrecht Dürer were important artists of the Renaissance, Caspar David Friedrich of Romanticism, and Max Ernst of Surrealism.

The term German artist refers to someone who is an artist and was born in Germany.
The artist that you are referring to is Damien Hirst, he was actually born in England, and he is well know for freezing animals, such as sharks, and cutting them/ slicing them for viewing of the internal organs. He is referred to as an English artist.
No humans, of Germanic decent or otherwise, are involved.
Hope you enjoyed your rant, you must be a bit upset today.

German artists .... you don't know a lot about art, do you. Albrecht Durer was German, and he made some beautiful work. Paula Moderson Becker also, but she sadly died quite young. Why don't you stop being so immature and do some googling to find out who they are and what they made?
