why does my camera say decode err and how can i prevent this from happening??

You need to supply the name of the manufacturer. I suggest you do go to google.com and do a search using the manufacturer, the camera model and the words "decode err." Good luck. (FYI: you posted this in quotations. You might have received more answers had you posted it in photography.)
