Each man must for himself alone decide what is right and what is wrong, which course is patriotic and which isn't. You cannot shirk this and be a man. To decide against your conviction is to be an unqualified and excusable traitor, both to yourself and to your country, let me label you as they may.

Hi - if someone dropped out of University before the University had taken the fees for tuition and accomadation, what would happen. Would they call the police or debt collection agency to come to the alternative address that you put when applying or would they leave it. I have read that if University fees are not paid you get kicked out but if you leave before paying then can you get away with it?

Just wondering

Thanks

For my honors english class we have to fill out a chart with the seven revised commandments, but I found that only the last four commandments have changed
4. No animal shall sleep in a bed with sheets
5. No animal shall drink alcohol to excess
6. No animal shall kill any other animal without cause.
7. All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.

Did the first 3 commandments change?

If ALL of the whole numbers [0, 1, 2, 3, … , infinity] were written out and spelled in American English (and there are an infinite number of them, including such monsters as five hundred sixty-three trillion two hundred forty-nine billion sixty million one hundred sixty-seven thousand four hundred and nine [which looks like 563,249,060,167,409]) – and then alphabetized,

(a) what would be the first number on the list,

(b) what would be the second number on the list, and

(c) what would be the last number on the list (as if you’re ever going to get there – bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!).

Note that if we were only alphabetizing 4, 5, 14, 50, 60 and the monster, they would go fifty, five, [the monster: five hundred…], four, fourteen and sixty ( = 50, 5, [563,249,060,167,409], 4, 14 and 60).

With cloning quickly becoming a controversial topic some “supposed” arguments against cloning are that it is wrong to play God, cloning is wrong in that it breaches the individuality of humans, and clones would be considered less than human. In exploring the first of these arguments it is very clear that this ties into faith and religion. The point of many cloning critics is that cloning humans is against the will of Providence. However, it is mentioned in the Bible that man was created in the likeness of God (Bible, 1). In order to be more like God, which is his will, we can duplicate what he created. God will not be displeased, but instead be pleased with this major accomplishment. An even greater controversy are the rights of the clones. Critics of cloning fear that clones would not be treated as normal humans and would thus be subjugated to inferior treatment. The same was said about babies created through in vitro fertilization, babies conceived outside the womb, and babies created by sperm donation. But discrimination did not take place then so why should it be expected now? Also the U. S. Constitution strongly implies that once a human fetus is outside the womb and alive, he has rights. Decisions backing this up give him rights to inherit property, rights not to suffer discrimination because of disability, and rights to U. S. citizenship (Pence 3). Because of these reasons clones would definitely be treated the same way as normal people and will not be rejected by society because of their resemblance
