Hi - if someone dropped out of University before the University had taken the fees for tuition and accomadation, what would happen. Would they call the police or debt collection agency to come to the alternative address that you put when applying or would they leave it. I have read that if University fees are not paid you get kicked out but if you leave before paying then can you get away with it?

Just wondering

Thanks

They will probably send it to a collection agency. If you stayed long enough to owe some money, they will not ignore it if you leave without paying. It could also affect your credit rating.

You are beginning to sound like a "slick Willie". You commit to the university, deprive another of being accepted, then drop out before you have paid ? Now you want idiots to agree with you that it is all right to skip? You are not wondering, You want not to fulfill your commitment. Great moral character!! You should go far at what, I can't say

They will attempt to collect it, and if you don't pay they will turn it over to a debt collection agency or a lawyer, either of which will take you to court if you don't make payments to them.
