Or did someone recover all the dead?

Hello, most of the dead were never recovered after the disaster, those floating on top of the water were collected and due to the freezing temperatures most of the bodies on the surface were remarkably well preserved. Those which were taken down with the ship through the suction of the vessel sinking would have been very slowly decimated through consumption by marine life such as ragfish and smaller microbes, though due to the depth (3 miles down) and the cold, this would have been a slower process than at the waters surface. However, it has not been discovered yet if there were any bodies within watertight compartments such as cabins aboard the Titanic herself, which would decay at a far slower rate as no organic life would be able to reach them until the remains of the ship become totally unstable, which is likely to happen in the next 50 years. It must also be recognised that the Titanic itself is a grave and constant disturbances by those who choose to plunder her wealth is morally wrong.

I believe the bones are gone (rotted etc.). But there were signs of people when the Titanic was first re-discovered. For example, shoes lying on the ocean floor in the exact location where the person landed when he/she floated to the bottom. Sad.

Sadly the dead were not recovered....different time frame....before all of these new advances in technology that we have......

The people floated on top and then later settled to the bottom and became just fodder for the fish and microbes at that depth.

No. The pressure of the water, would have reduced the skeletons to dust, many years ago.
