Did any one had foreign pharmacy graduate exam latelly ?
is it really hard to pass it? and how you prepare for the test?
and what is better to study pharmacy abroad and apply for the FPGE E or study in one of the pharmacy schools in the us?which will cost me much more about $31000 a year since it is only$ 6000 a year in my original country< egypt > which all the phrmacy programmes are 5 years and are accredited in US. by the way i am a dual citizen egyption american

Most applicants taking the FPGEE fail it the first time. It is a tough exam. They use all American drug names. From what I hear, the U.S. focus on pharmacy education is very different than a lot of the international programs. They use the ACPE requirements in the FPGEE. Unless you go to one of the special international pharmacy programs, I believe there are only 2 or 3 of them, it might take upwards of 6 years to get the U.S. PharmD. I don't know if the universities will accept your Egyptian prereqs. Since you're an American citizen, you'll qualify for financial aid.

You need to know the latin name of the drugs. Need to know side effects of the drugs. Need to know how they interact with other drugs.
