No matter what other careers there are out in this world, none of them but being vet really appeal to me. I'm a high school sophomore, and im really inspired by other vets, and i too would like to become one.
The classes i've taken so far are: Marching Band, Earth and Enviormental Science Honors, English 1 honors, Civics and Economics Honors, Algebra 1, Concert Band, Spanish 1, and Physical Education/Health.
I am currently taking: Marching Band 2, Biology Honors, English 2 honors, and Computer Applications 1.
My next semester classes are: Concert band, World History Honors, Geometry, and Spanish 2.
I attend South Iredell High School in Statesville, NC.
And I'd like to know what classes I should take for the next two years I'll be in high school, that will help me do good with grades, and help me get into a good college, so i can go to vet. school.
So..yeah. What classes should I sign up for?

Continue with as much biology as you can manage, and include math, as well as at least introductory chemistry and physics in your program. Make sure that you are completing the required courses for admission to the science programs of the schools you are considering. Focus on getting excellent grades, becasue competition for vet school is fierce, even more so than for medical school. Best of luck with your plans.

The link below will let you know what each specific Vet school requires you to take in college. You should know that it is harder to get into Vet school than almost any other discipline. I actually know people who went to med school becuse they didn't get into vet school. There are only 28 vet schools in the US -- and most have residency requirements.

At this point, you should be doing everything you can to get into a great university -- because that will give you a slight edge in getting into a vet program. You should be taknig lots of AP and Honors classes. You should also be taking as many science and math classes as possible. Make sure that you have taken calculus while still in high school, and at least a year of biology, chemistry and physics.

I'm not sure, but I would take as many science and math classes as possible. Why don't you try volunteering at a local animal shelter too or working in a vets office. This way you will know for sure that this is what you want to do with the rest of your life. Plus if you volunteer you will find a mentor in the field to help you through your studies and possible get a head start in the process.

You can take whatever you want. Since you will need a BS, take alot of math and science classes, and get really good grades in them.

From the looks I would say you need to keep up with the math and get more science classes going.
